AnnaLena is a Michelin starred Tasting Menu restaurant located steps from Kitsilano Beach and a short walk from Downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. 

The restaurant has been owned by Chef Michael Robbins and Operations Manager Jeff Parr since 2015.  Awarded as one of En Route’s Top 10 New Restaurants in its opening year and consistently named as one of Canada’s Top 100 Restaurants; AnnaLena continues to grow and evolve.

In June 2020 the restaurant moved to exclusively offer a multi course tasting menu focusing on seasonal local farms and suppliers alongside wine pairings and cocktails.

We are currently offering a combination of dining room and bar seating. Reservations become available exclusively online 30 days in advance.

HOURS

We are currently open Tuesday-Sunday from 5:00pm with our last seating at 9:00pm. We are closed Monday.

 


PARKING & LOCATION

AnnaLena is located at 1809 West 1st Avenue in the Kitsilano neighbourhood of Vancouver.

We recommend that you give yourself ample time for travel and parking, or use public transport / rideshare services as it tends to be more convenient and can make your evening feel more relaxed and worry-free. Street parking is possible, but can be very competitive in the neighbourhood.

 

DIETARY REQUESTS

We offer a multi-course tasting menu at AnnaLena exclusively. We do not offer any à la carte options.

Please contact the restaurant directly via e-mail (info@annalena.ca) or phone (778-379-4052) to discuss dietary restrictions before making a booking, to ensure that we can accommodate your request. Please leave us a detailed voicemail if we are unable to pick up the phone. Due to the complexity and seasonality of the menu, we are not always able to accommodate all requests, and are unable to accommodate for more than one dietary request per booking, but will try our best. Please note that all dietary modification requests are at the discretion of the restaurant and certain accommodations can be menu dependent.

Among other restrictions and combination of restrictions, kindly note that we are unable to accommodate 100% plant-based (vegan), Celiac, butter-free, egg-free, Kosher, Halal, and/or no-allium menus at this time.

 

PRICING

Our tasting menu is $158 per person.

 

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift certificates are available in any denomination and can be purchased online here. We offer physical copies for pick up, or we can mail them to the recipient. E-gift cards are also available. 

 

RESERVATIONS

We currently offer seating for our set tasting menu in the dining room as well as at the bar. 

Bookings are open 30 days in advance. Each new day will open at 9:00am Pacific Standard Time through Resy.  

For same-day reservations, please call us at 778-379-4052.

Note that due to the small size of our team and the complexity of the tasting menu, modifications to the menu for allergies and other dietary restrictions require 48 hours' notice. We have very limited ability to modify the tasting menu for same-day reservations. Please inform all members of your party that we will be unable to honour any day-of dietary requests.

 


CANCELLATION POLICY

If you would like to cancel, change or reschedule your reservation, please do so with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Bookings can be cancelled or changed up to 48 hours prior to your confirmed booking time through Resy.

We are unable to reschedule bookings due to medical, family, business emergencies, illness, or other unexpected events within 48 hours.

Any cancellations or change in covers within 48 hours will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee per person.

 

LATE SEATING POLICY

Please allow 2-3 hours to enjoy the full experience, and keep in mind that it starts promptly at your reservation time. If you are running behind schedule on the day of your reservation, please contact us so we may plan accordingly and extend a grace period of up to 15 minutes.

While we recognize that unforeseen events occur, seating cannot be guaranteed beyond this window. If you do anticipate a delayed arrival, please contact us as soon as possible at 778-379-4052.

Please keep in mind that refunds and reschedules are not offered if we are unable to seat you after our grace period.

 

CORKAGE POLICY

$45 per 750mL bottle, up to two bottles. We kindly ask that the wines you bring are not already represented on our list. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to confirm your bottle ahead of your visit at 778-379-4052, or email reverie@annalena.ca.

 

DINING WITH CHILDREN

Young guests are welcome to join us for dinner providing that they will participate in the full tasting menu experience, which typically takes 2-3 hours to enjoy. We do not offer a childrens’ menu, nor do we have high chairs or booster seats. Dining with infants and/or very young children is not recommended. We ask our diners to please keep in mind that many of our guests are celebrating special occasions when they join us and expect to enjoy their dining experience in a peaceful and relaxing environment.

 

 PRIVATE EVENTS

AnnaLena accepts reservations for 1 to 4 guests.

Should you wish to dine with a larger group, we offer exclusive use of our entire restaurant for private events.
